Yup. I drew it on a separate layer and experimented with applying a gaussian blur. It wasn't totally effective but you live and learn.

I'll be posting a black and white version of this on my instagram which doesn't have the blurred background.

this is really cool. most people just make ice characters too pale so it looks like theyre dead but you nailed it, icy and feels like theyre alive
